The Furniture Institute adopts a dual approach in its areas of operation, functioning both as a “think tank” and as a technical entity within the sector. It strategically situates itself at the intersection of these two realms, incorporating elements from each. As such, the institute’s scope of work encompasses the following headings:

To publish monthly bulletins
To analyse economic data for the sector in certain periods
Information production for the sector
To carry out certification activities, conducting technical researches, providing training on the determined subjects
To carry out sectoral consultancy activities

To follow design trends in furniture, to organise webinars on these trends and to transform these webinars into meaningful reports

To make knowledge transfers from international universities
