The International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF), one of the leading meeting points of the global furniture industry, will once again bring industry professionals together in Istanbul between January 27–31, 2026. The event, to be held in coordination with the Federation of Furniture Associations (MOSFED) at the city’s two fair centers (IFM – TÜYAP), will host 3,000 brands and their newest collections in an area of 250,000 square meters. Over 150,000 professional visitors from more than 150 countries and regions are expected to attend the fair, which will be held this year with the theme of “Sustainability.”
Recognized as one of the three most prestigious events in the furniture sector on an international scale, IIFF 2026 is preparing to once again carry the Turkish furniture industry’s production power, design competence, and innovative vision to the world stage. The fair, taking place from January 27–31, 2026, will bring together all product groups under one roof, from modern and modular furniture to luxury designs, and from baby, children, and youth room furniture to bed, office, hotel, and outdoor collections.
IIFF, which generated a business volume of approximately 3 billion dollars in meetings held during the fair last year, aims to carry the Turkish furniture sector’s global competitiveness even further this year with its stronger content, increased international participation, and sustainability-focused approach.
The Platform Shaping the Future of the Industry
Evaluating the fair preparations, MOSFED President Ahmet Güleç emphasized the role IIFF undertakes both sectorally and economically with these words: “Turkish furniture is writing a success story in the world today. The International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF), which originated in Turkey and became a brand organization, has a very significant contribution and impact on this story.” The fair, held in all halls of Istanbul’s two major exhibition centers, IFM and TÜYAP, across a total area of 250,000 square meters, constitutes a strategic platform for our industry in terms of promotion, marketing, and collaboration. IIFF, held every year in January at the beginning of the new year, continues to be the meeting point where the first steps of the Turkish furniture manufacturer’s year-long exports are taken and new trade agreements are shaped. Our manufacturers meet with buyers from all over the world at the fair, offering them the chance to examine their collections firsthand, and this process directly transforms into new commercial connections.”
Güleç reminded that last year’s fair laid the groundwork for approximately 3 billion dollars in business meetings and continued his words: “In 2026, we aim to carry this success even further, bringing Turkish furniture together with the future on the axis of innovation, design, and sustainability. IIFF 2026 will not only be the center of furniture trade but also of design, technology, and green transformation.”
Turkish Furniture’s Gateway to the World
IIFF, which has become one of the most strategic meetings not only for Turkey but also for the global furniture industry, will pave the way for new collaborations, commercial connections, and export opportunities in the sector in 2026.
The fair, whose visitor profile includes interior architects, decorators, chain store managers, dealers, import and export professionals, hotel purchasing managers, and designers, will bring together the newest collections in modern, modular, and luxury furniture, as well as office, school, garden, baby, youth, bed, and accessory categories.
With its sustainability, design, and innovation-focused approach, IIFF 2026 will offer a unique experience to participants and visitors, once again demonstrating the global brand power of the Turkish furniture industry.
